Making Gingerbread Men









We have been reading the Gingerbread Man story in class and decided to make gingerbread. First we rubbed butter into the flour mixture, then we added egg.  We mixed it altogether to form a dough. We left it in the fridge for half an hour before we rolled out the dough.  We used cookie cutters to make our gingerbread man shapes and baked them in the oven for 10 minutes.  They smelled YUM! We then decorated them with chocolate buttons and peddles and then we ate them for morning tea! We had a really fun morning! When can we make some more???
